Ok, ok, hands up! I admit it! Much to my long-suffering husband’s dismay, I just cannot stop hauling stuff home from certain shops… Tiger – oh so cute ‘n’ kitsch, Zara Home – I’m practically obliged…. Penneys… oops… I mean Primark – very nearly a second home (once I touch down in Dublin, family can wait until I’ve popped in just to check if there’s anything they’ve forgotten to export to London… well, you never know, could happen… 😳).
So with it being Paddy’s Day on Sunday I headed to the nearest place that reminds me most of home… Penneys… aargh… keep doing that… Primark, I mean!
And here is what I found:
Ok so the gold jewellery box actually has a very practical purpose… to organise my daughters’ hair accessories which are currently tangled up in a heap somewhere in the bowels of their bedroom. Ergo clap on the back for that eminently sensible purchase, thank you very much… cough…
As for the pearl hangers (with one for hanging up scarves even !!!). Well, why wouldn’t you?! It is “Spring Clean” season after all… and they’re just sooo pwetty! 😍
Marabou slippers… so soft, so fluffily fluffy… and my Ann Summers’ high heeled ones seem almost inappropriate (not completely though…) for a mum of three. How could you not?!
Elodie needed a new water bottle device thing. She likes glitter! She likes pink! Job done! 👍
Final lot (phew!):
Since my days working as a fashion PR in Paris I’ve been addicted to diptique’s room scents (Tuberose, anyone?!). But since our (semi) recent house move my current supply has been buried in an unpacked box (more on this later…) so instead of wasting money buying more I’m actually saving money by spending a mere £3 on a Penneys… aargh…. Primark version. Thrifty little old me, I’m sure the hubby would agree… well, ok, probably not 😩!
Stay tuned for more shopping hauls, folks (unless, he puts me in therapy first…🙀)!
